Food and Beverage Server
Salary:
$16.00 per hour
Qualification and Experience:
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Server is an asset
- To prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, you must be of legal drinking age.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on menu selections
- Greet customers, display menus, offer advice, and address their inquiries about food and drink.
- Give an overview of the menu items and any daily specials for customers.
- Take orders and give them to the bar and kitchen staff.
- Wines and wine glasses should be ordered and kept in stock.
- Present invoices to clients and accept payment in cash, travelers’ checks, credit or debit cards, or room billings.
- Serve food and beverages
- Describe and advise on wine selection
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Supervise other servers and bussing staff
- Provide customer service
