• Senior C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• The applicant will help develop the software systems of Afiniti’s upcoming generation.
• A complete test automation engine for telephone switches will be built using the software systems.
• It will be expected of the candidate to create high-caliber software utilising high-level languages (C/C++, C#).
• It will be advantageous to have knowledge of other languages, such as python, java, or react.

Eligibility

• 5 or more years of experience working as a software developer
• Programming skills with a multi-threaded environment and a demonstrated understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack
• Strongly preferred: knowledge of networking protocols (SIP, SDP, RTP, and RTCP).
• Understanding of DevOps techniques and resources (Git, Jenkins, Docker)
• Development Knowledge of client-server architecture; Windows and Linux development experience
• Outstanding abilities in both written and spoken English
• Ability to quickly understand existing system architecture and complex business processes, and to offer effective solutions to challenging situations
• A knack for maths, problem-solving, debugging, and quickly picking up new languages and APIs
• Having experience with both traditional and agile development approaches
• Experience with test-driven development
• Excellent technical and analytical abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal and cooperative skills
